We met the modern way—on Hinge. Our first date was supposed to be a casual coffee in Oakland… but almost didn’t happen thanks to a classic app miscommunication. Thankfully, the stars aligned (and so did our texts), and we met up for that coffee. The conversation flowed easily, and soon we were wandering through Oakland on more dates, bonding over our love for this city, the Warriors, and our cats (which I later learned was just my deep obsession and Trevor just lovingly tolerating it).

Not long after we met, we decided to really test things: we booked a trip to Mexico together. From Mexico City to Oaxaca to Puerto Vallarta, we learned early on that we travel well together—a make-or-break for both of us. That trip sealed something special.

Over the years, our bond has deepened—through everyday routines, big adventures, and all the little moments in between. We love grilling together, going out, hanging with our families, hosting backyard BBQs, and embracing all-day shenanigans (ideally with good food and even better company). Traveling remains a big part of our story—and it keeps reminding us how fun it is to build a life side by side.

Along the way, we started saying “Best Day Ever” about all kinds of things—a perfect taco Tuesday, a lazy couch day, a delicious takeout order. Now, we’re turning that motto into the Best Life Ever. And we’re so excited to kick off this next chapter with all of you.
